Safari and reservations advisor

Mwiba Holdings Limited is a Tanzanian company registered under the Companies Act (Cap. 212) and a leading hotel company with operations in the Arusha, Mito Simu, and Mara regions. We are currently seeking a safari and reservation advisor to be part of our team to support all of our tourist facilities and enhance the photo safari experience.


Key Result Areas / Core Features


  1. Monitor all lodging reservations at Moiba Holdings properties to ensure that all reservations are uploaded to the reservation systems.
  2. Oversee bookings for all free Safari services, including airport transfers, third-party accommodations, flights, airport pick-up, welcome, etc. for all agents of the company.
  3. Agent email trend monitoring and Safari process requests.
  4. Manage the design of Safari, that is, check availability, book, quote, design itineraries, invoice, and monitor confirmations.
  5. Work closely with the Reservations and Safari Manager to ensure control of the safari by ensuring that any discrepancies during the pricing and confirmation phase are resolved in a timely manner with the agents, as well as being available to resolve any customer issues that arise during the safari.
  6. Develop safari rates, share and update changes with company agents, advise the team on timing and rates for Cancellation and Identification (FAM) trips.
  7. Work closely with the sales and marketing team and be part of the marketing research to identify sales potential and assess customer/agent needs.
  8. Professional and personal data.


Professional Qualification:

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Tourism or Sales and Marketing Management from an internationally accredited university institution.

Advanced level of computer literacy with a particular focus on hospitality data usage systems, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Experience and skills:

  • At least 5 years of hospitality sales and marketing management.
  • Ability to listen, communicate, and serve diplomatically effectively with internal and external stakeholders, agents, guests, and employees in all situations.
  • Have the ability to work during periods of high demand and be ready to work on weekends.
  • The ability to maintain physical endurance.
  • Passion for the hospitality industry and the photographic safari industry.
  • You have a positive attitude and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Firmness, patience, and good organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy, with experience in packages such as Excel, MS word, Res Request, Fidelio, Pink Elephant, or any related reservation or safari system.
