Singida is a region of Tanzania. The regional capital is the municipality of Singida. The district is bounded on the north by Shinyanga District, Simeu District, and Arusha District, on the northeast by Manyara District, on the east by Dodoma District, on the southeast by Iringa District, on the southwest by Mbeya District, and on the west by Tabora Sewer.
The district includes seven districts, namely Singida Rural, Singida Urban, Manyoni District, Ikungi, Itigi and Mkalama District. The Singida area can be reached from Arusha via Babati and Katesh in the Manyara District. From Dar es Salaam, the Singida region can be reached via Morogoro and Dodoma. From Mwanza, the area is reached via Shinyanga and Nziga. All these roads are passable all year round and with good quality of paved roads.
Manyoni District is one of the six districts of the Singida District of Tanzania. The provincial capital is the city of Manion. It is bordered on the north by Ikongi district, on the east by Dodoma district, on the south by Iringa district, on the southwest by Mbeya district and on the west by Tabora district. According to the 2002 national census of Tanzania, Manyoni district had a population of 205,423. According to the 2012 Tanzania National Census, the population of Manyuni District was 296,763..
