Responsibilities

• Raise and maintain a deposit portfolio within the branch according to the established objectives
• Proactively initiate contact with potential customers to increase deposits.
• Maintain a good relationship with new and existing account holders in your portfolio.
• Start opening the account (on the client's site).
• Control the level of activity/inactivity and inactivity of your deposit portfolio.
• Monitor the performance of your deposit portfolio through my MBA and other performance tracking tools.
• Adhere to the code of conduct, policies, and procedures.
• Cross-selling of AMBT products and alternative banking channels
• Suggest marketing strategies or promotions.
• Initiate, plan, organize and track direct marketing activities individually or as a team
• Ensure at all times that customer needs are met in a timely, professional, and respectful manner.

Qualifications and personality traits.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited higher education institution (related, such as marketing, commerce, economics, business administration, etc.)
• Good knowledge of English and Swahili spoken and written.
• At least one year of experience in a bank or financial institution in a sales position
• Successful participation in direct marketing activities.
• Sales and foreign orientation
• Customer-focused and performance-oriented
• Ability and willingness to work in a team.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Available to work in Dar es Salaam and other AMBT regional branches
